Homewatch Caregivers of Southeast Michigan

Homewatch CareGivers of Southeast Michigan is an in-home care agency that offers a wide variety of tailored, expert-level services to support people of all ages and needs. Homewatch CEM in Novi, MI, has served Oakland and northern Wayne counties since 2018. The national Homewatch CareGivers company has provided care for more than 35 years.  

Brian and Breanne Stuart co-own the Novi agency and take their work seriously and personally. They have a long history of caring for their own loved ones and a passion for caring for and serving others, regardless of age or health condition. "We provide compassionate in-home care for the whole person, not just for their condition," said President and CEO Breanne. "Our aim is always to improve quality of life and promote peace and dignity."  

Homewatch CareGivers of Southeast Michigan offers elder and dementia care as well as care for chronic conditions or hospital discharges at any age. Staff can help with daily activitiesmeal preparation, laundry, transportation, grooming and companionship to name a fewso clients can feel safe and comfortable in their home and maintain a healthy level of independence. Continuing education is a crucial component of quality care. "We partner with the Institute of Gerontology because we know how important it is to educate the caregiving and healthcare community," Breanne said. Caregiving issues change and evolve. Exceptional service requires up-to-date knowledge. 

COVID-19 has not stopped their good works. "We have been extremely fortunate to be able to provide all proper personal protection equipment to our caregivers including surgical masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and even isolation gear when necessary," Brian said. "We quickly established a COVID-19 emergencyprocedure to keep our clients and teams informed and safe!" The protocol includes no questions asked self-reporting, client and caregiver town hall meetings, and using virtual technology to reduce management staff in the home. 

Homewatch CareGivers of Southeast Michigan is a member of the Home Care Association of America's Michigan Chapter and the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce. Homewatch CareGivers is also a multi-year winner of the Home Care Pulse Provider of Choice Award and the Employer of Choice Award and was named Employer of the Year by the Detroit Free Press.
