The Institute of Gerontology's Older Adult Nest Egg website offers convenient, validated tools for seniors, professionals and caregivers who need a simple way to assess the financial decision-making capacity and combat financial exploitation. OlderAdultNestEgg.com is free and open to all.

Successful Aging thru Financial Empowerment (SAFE)

SAFE one-on-one financial coaching for older adults, and family or friend caregivers who have been a victim of scam or ID theft. We can  assist over the phone or do a video chat with you. Our assistance is safe, confidential and free.   • Contacting credit reporting agencies
  • Filing police reports
  • Closing compromised accounts
  • Budgeting and record-keeping
  • Placing fraud alerts on your credit report
